The eagerly anticipated new CD album from Mystro 'Diggi Down Unda' on the aussie Grindin imprint is now available from us. For peeps on this shore, it may have seemed that Stro was M.I.A, in actuality Mys has been working hard in Australia, connecting with the best the aussies have to offer, touring with The Hilltop Hoods & rocking joints with a lot of others. The CD features 19 brand spanking new joints entirely produced & cameod by down under artists and delivered in true Mystro humour. Be sure to peep it out, it's definitely a scorcher, hotter than 'Music Mystro EP' in my opinion...
Also I am now officially announcing that there won't be any orders in the mail now until after the festive period as both Disorda & I will be away enjoying booze, partying & cow tipping. Merry Festiveness Guys & Girls, lets hope next year is a banger!!...

Beats In Progress also drop the Kashmere & DPF tune 'Trouble' here, which weirdly enough we unearthed a few copies of the other day on the original 'Space Cadets EP'. Ill Boogs comes with a re-edit to his original 7" 'Gypsy Rock', which again sold out pretty sharpish when originally released. And finally you'll find a little booty action, always good, from French DJs Boogaloo & Lotari with a funky mid tempo joint sampling some well known bird, I mean, singer... Having repped mighty hard over the last few years in Australia via tours alongside artists such as Braintax, Hilltop Hoods and Resin Dogs, and recorded with the like of Bliss N Eso, Hilltop Hoods and P-Money it's easy to see why one of the UKs most respected artists has found recording an entire album with Antipodean artists alongside him so easy. Mystro's forthcoming 'Diggi Down Unda' long player finds him taking control on the mic over beats by New Zealand's P-Money, and Australia's Suffa, DJ Debris, Dazastah, DJ Bonez, Mr Zux and Phrase. Also alongside him on this adventure will be Anecdote, Phrase, Macromantics, Maya Jupiter, Layla, A-Love & Hilltop Hoods. It's set to drop here in the UK around Feb/March time, however right about now the limited 3 track 12" sampler featuring the killer P-Money joint Who You Gonna Blame? finds Mystro flexing his titanium lungs to full capacity. Dropping fresh for your ears today is the all new Braintax album 'Panorama' on Low Life Records, one sure fire follow up to 'Biro Funk' and in my eyes one of the best albums to drop this year, standard. You'll find a killer line up on the boards - Ghost, Beat Butcha, Elmore Judd, Copperpot, Louis Slipperz, Bengrymm, Spanish producer Tejota and Brains himself, all complementing the lyrics and pictures painted throughout. Flip it over and your treated to the bangin ‘Dogz N Sledgez’ once again, released last year and quickly selling out it’s feature on this 12” makes it worth copping just for this, and finally another First Man produced joint ‘Tek Microphone’ finishes off the bashment, it’s great to have the original Demon Boyz emcee back once again, and on fire…
Also in stock is Keith Lawrence’s Soundz Of Muzik Ed, The Story So Far compilation, here you’ll find all his previously released vinyl EPs on one CD making great listening from this top notch producer, tracks as you know which feature the likes of Rodney P, Karl Hinds, Seanie T, Skeme, Mystro, Ty, Joker Starr, The Blacknificent 7, Dom G and more. If you missed out on these releases now’s your chance to get one seriously heavy CD, Muzik Ed doing it right. You’ll also find a couple of extra joints thrown onto the end of the CD for extra fatness…
And the latest issue of Hip Hop Connection magazine is in stock, featuring a 20 piece soundtrack CD live and direct from the Brighton Hip Hop festival...

Following on from ‘The Working Class Dad’ album, Sit Tight Records bring us 2 goodies in various forms from Micall Parknsun. Firstly we have the brand new 12” ‘Hungry’ b/w ’Somehow’, the A-side is a flame grilled Apa-Tight banger featuring a catchy hook from Dubbledge and was on P’s recent album. Also included is an exclusive remix of ‘Hungry’ by Billy Brimstone aka Jehst, on the flip LG provides a musical masterpiece for the emotional ‘Somehow’.
This is also found on the next release we have, the official ParkE mix CD ‘The Interview Mixtape’, it is essentially a collection of older ish that didn’t make the album. Also featured are freestyles and various unreleased tunes with Bob Skunkhouse aka Ram, Secondson, Humurak D Gritty, Kyza, Jehst, Klashnekoff & loads more good stuff. He’s currently working on a second album as well as material with Huddersfield collective Groundwurk & Me (keep your eyes peeled for the Parkski & Butch EP), so be sure to hear more big tings from this geezer in the future…
Humurak D Gritty returns on SFDB with a new 3 track EP entitled ‘They Ain’t Ready’, fully produced by Cardiff beatmaker Secondson. This EP ain’t quite as dark as the first one, it’s a little more up beat and funky production wise, but King Gritty still drops that raw shit…
Lastly Irish badboys All City bring us a new 2 track 12” ‘Like They Used To’ b/w ‘Come Up’ from production duo DJ Flip & The Freezemaster Slick. The A-side features the ex-Arsonist Freestyle spitting some ‘They Don’t Make Em Like They Used To’ ish over a summery up tempo jump off. The ‘Come Up’, which is the other side features Prozack Turner (Foreign Legion) & Marc Stretch and is equally as chilled out but more of a braggadocios type of joint. Give it a peep, ‘Like They Used To’ is tight!...

We finally have the album sampler in stock from DJ MK’s new ‘Above Board’ mix CD. 5 tracks are featured here, it’s a bit of a shame that more tracks didn’t come out on vinyl as the mix is 100% and contains some serious flames. Tracks from Roots Manuva & Rodney P, Yungun & Mr Thing, Kyza & Pyrelli, Skinnyman, Ramson Badbonez/Taskforce/D-molish are all featured here, over beats from Farma G, DJ Mentat, myself (Beat Butcha) & Mr Thing. Lastly just lemme give a big shout to the Label for putting the production credits in the smallest writing possible so that everyone with a microscope can see who made the beats! Have a good weekend...

Solid production throughout comes from JBC, Roeg Du Casq, DJ Skare, Kosyne and um, Dave. Don’t be worried that you may not know some of these names as the beats are top notch, coupled with Sonnyjims killer verses and flow this is one cat to watch. You'll also find guest spots from English & Kosyne and cuts undertaken by DJ Cro and Jodo, with a few other helping hands on some funny skits, cop it now on CD and vinyl format. For those of you who tune into my show on Itch FM unfortunatly the time has now come for me to move on after presenting the Suspect Packages Radio Show for 6 years, this Sunday will be my last show for the station and I can tell you that the decision to leave has not been an easy one. After being with Itch since it started broadcasting, presenting the show has been part of my life every Sunday evening. The reason for leaving Itch is basically down to my general workload and needing some of my own personal life back at weekends… However fear not, the Suspect Packages Radio Show will still continue at least once a month here on the website via our Suspect Radio to the rest of the world, along with our Australian Hip Hop shows on the sister site…
There maybe other legal stations that I will be on in the near future so we’ll keep you posted on these potential movements, but for now make sure you tune in on Sunday if you can as we’ll also be hijacking the Beer & Rap Show before us, so expect some slurry slanguage nah mean. This Sunday’s show should be recorded and up on Suspect Radio for those outside the London area, till then, thanx to all the DJs, management, engineers and of course loyal listeners of Itch FM for continuing to support the non stop Hip Hop across London town, and for making me feel proud to let you hear all the upfront newness and old skool UK classics, keep checking the show via this site ya hear, nice one, rock rock on…

Ola famalam, it is me Senior Plebino Butchos Banton, here to tell you about a few new hot releases...
Silent Soundz have graced us with the new Verb T & Harry Love album ‘Bring It Back To Basics’, a 16 track boom bap bonanza, indeed bring this shit back to basics. Don’t misunderstand that tho peoples! The album has a very mid nineties sound, brought up to date and it is fire! I for one am happy to see the return of one of the sickest beat makers this country has to offer, yes I am talking about Harry Love-jones. Kyza, Yungun, Jehst, Red, Ramson Badbonez & Karizma all make nice cameos, and apart from ‘Delusion’ everything here is previously unreleased. However vinyl junkies will have to wait tho as we only have the CD and MP3 formats at the moment. The wax ain't in yet, but truss we should have within the week fam!!...
Next up Breakin Bread have re-released the Ghost 'Let Em Know EP’, which contains the flame griller tracks ‘Vices Verses’, ‘Exactly (Remix)’ and of course ‘Let Em Know’. The first bunch sold out quicker than L mother lovin’ Cool J did, we’ve only had the MP3 versions for a while and have had a good few people ask us if it’s still available on wax, so if you slept, now’s yer chance to pick copies up!...
And finally in the 18:05 news, South London rapper Travis Blaque returns on Unique Records with ‘Who R U?’, a joint featuring Apollo, Dom G & Evon, lifted off his forthcoming 'The Many Facets Of' album, alongside 4 different mixes -The original mix, which was provided by Moezart and 3 remixes by Rich Medina, The Saint & J.R. My personal favourite mix is the J.R. mix but in general all mixes are hot, the basic vibe of the lyrics is on some punch line madness, and all MCs rep fully, with Apollo shining real hard. I know a lot of you will be happy to see Apollo releasing new material, he’s got a few new things coming aswell as his tune on our ‘Suspect Files Vol.3’, be on the look out for him on DJ MK’s forthcoming album (which I also have 2 tunes on), so keep an ear out...

Following on from last years banging 12” with Milano & Smiley The Ghetto Child, Notts beat digging killers the P Brothers return with a hard 2 track 12” alongside the Money Boss Players. ‘Boss Money Gangsters’ b/w ‘Blam Blam For Nottingham’ are hard & funky street joints, with the sound that NYC should be coming with. Boss Money supply straight up hustler spits but floss skills, complementing the soundscapes supplied by Nottingham’s Finest. Paul S & Ivory have managed to perfect their styles, cementing them in my opinion as 2 of the best producers the UK has to offer. If you didn’t pick the last 12” up go cop that, because that was off the ricter!! There is talk of a CD album but nothing set in stone yet, so don’t hold us to that...

Skuff of Cambridge’s Delegates Of Culture camp hits us off with his new 3 track 12” ‘Filled In’, ’I Migrant’ b/w ‘The Repercussion’ on The Music. First up Nappa drops the beat for ‘Filled In’, which is a nice soulful joint, where Skuff flips some ill arse braggadocio flows. Next up ‘I Migrant’ is a slow joint with a nice little French sample up in the mix, while Skuff drops some clever scripts about immigration. Finally ‘The Repercussion’, is the self produced posse cut featuring Delegate boys Prolo, Inja & Toe. All round, this is a very consistent 12”, be on the look out for Skuff’s forthcoming album ‘The End Of The World News’, which we will have in within the month however wont be out anywhere else for another 2 months...
Funky beat professors Steady Diggin Workshop bring us 2 new releases via their Carbon Imprints label, firstly we have a funky 3 track instrumental 7” featuring the tracks ‘Doin’ It Well’, ‘Dippin’ Biscuits’ & ’Ghost Biter’. And they have also supplied us with 'Welcome To The Workshop’, a self produced mix CD featuring mainly funky self produced instrumentals blended with acapellas from previous Workshop releases, alongside other SDW releases found on CD here for the first time. Not strictly Hip Hop however Beyond There’s Kam supplies us with a new Rednose Distrikt 12” on his own Net Groove imprint, entitled ‘Sunshine’ b/w ‘More Sunshine –Kam’s Rework’. One side contains a summer style instrumental cut by the Dutch 2 man production outfit, while the b-side is Kam’s reworked version of ‘Sunshine’, sampling the Roy Ayers’ joint 'Everybody Loves The Sunshine'. Both tracks are pretty similar on a vibe tip, while Kam’s version is a little bit more uptempo and drops a harder drum break... We also managed to get our mits on 2 copies of Mystro’s ‘Tip Of The Mysberg Vol.1’ mix CD, so if you want it make sure ur quick... We have the new Sway 12” off the recent ‘This Is My Demo’ album, featuring the catchy ‘Products’ b/w ‘Baby Father’. All City have sorted the vinyl heads with a nice piece of exclusive non-album material yet again, in the form of the bonus b-side ‘Baby Father’ & a sub-bass rich remix of the a-side by Die and Lean…
Next Bias comes with his new album ‘Time & Tide’ on Canteen Records, which is a hot 13 track instrumental outing, including some nice mellow smoked out vibes. The LP is definitely a must if you are a fan of mellow instrumentals, as Bias has smoothly crafted all of the beats using traditional hip hop techniques, mixing and blending eclectic samples skilfully. ‘Time & Tide’ is currently exclusively available in Europe on vinyl, while Japan have had it on CD as well, but it will potentially be coming out over here on CD in the near future, so be on the lookout…
Lastly The Elementz brand new ‘Elementz Universe Vol.2’ is now available through us on CD. Following the success of the joint with Skinnyman off of first volume, Liati & Zoutre have recruited the likes of Taskforce, Mr 45, Dj Skully, Karizma, Rukus, MB and Shifty Spirit for this one. Overall they’ve kept the CD quite short and sweet but it definitely gets the stamp of heat from us @ Suspects as ‘Big Tune’ features on the forthcoming ‘Suspect Files Vol.3’, which fingers crossed should be in next week...

Ex Beatroute 38 members Dr Krome & Gee Swift release the 'Expressive:EP' on the Numskullz Ruztik label, rolling in at 10 tracks deep. It’s pretty obvious that they have been sitting on a lot of joints and that this EP is a promotional tool for them, watch for more to come. The styles to be expected are straight up true school styles with laid back beats and down to earth lyrics. We’re selling it pretty cheap @ 4.99, for 10 tracks this is true value for ya dough so go cop... We also have the new issue of HHC mag in stock...

Wiggidiwuddup peeps, Conflix & Chemo return with the second volume in their Character Assassins compilation CDs. Lemme take the time to big this CD up, not everything we stock on this site is my personal cup of tea but this is that Hip Hop ish I love!! Hard beats, ill-maculate lyricism and f**ing truck loads of it too, I may be a little biased as this is a release from my boys but truss there’s a lot of slept on talent on this CD. 'Character Assassins Volume 2' boasts 21 tracks featuring better know cats like Kyza, Reveal, Kashmere & Jehst, as well as equally ill underground heads such as Manage, Phalanx Heresy, Skandal & Rhyme Asylum. The beats are provided by the likes of Chemo, Beat Butcha, LG, Kosyne, S-Type, Leatherface, Baron Samedi and more. Be on the lookout for a whole heap of new ish from all of the artists on ‘Character Assassins Volume 2’, with Phalanx Heresy, Manage, Kashmere’s forthcoming completed albums all having productions from myself and Chemo. So get your monocle, gas masks and meat clevers ready for the invasion, once we’re here it wont be safe for the mediocre toy-hoppers anymore mooohahaha. Foreign Beggars have shown us some early action love, with their latest 12” ‘Slow Broiled Ilk EP’. The EP is 3 tracks deep and features none other than a beat from US producer/MC Oh No on the title track, in case you didn’t know No is Madlib The Beat Kondukta’s younger bro.
All in all quite a new sound for the Beggars, with no sample usage on any of the joints but they still kick that rowdy high speed ish. ‘Hot Plate’ is a double time ditty featuring the man of the moment, Dubbledge and is almost like a part 2 of ‘Hold On’. While ‘Backdraft’ is another nice sub bass heavy banger, which personally is my favourite on the 12”, all the tracks are lifted off of the forthcoming Foreign Beggars album so be on the lookout for that!...

Gyeh! Got a 2 bits to tell you about today, starting with the debut album, ‘In This Life’ from Jimmy Screech on Manuva’s Banana Klan/Trailblazers imprint. The styles on the album aren’t exclusively Hip Hop as Screachi aka flips reggae styles and even sings, but don’t watch that because it’s still exceedingly well baked like Mr Kipling’s cakes. It’s available on CD & LP, however only a limited amount were pressed and his previous releases have done well with us so be sure to cop soon...
Secondly we have the third in the recent series of 7”s on Evil Ed’s Hidden Identity imprint, this time we have a freaky jazz fusion outing from Universal Soliders’ producer AH-Fly’s alter ego Hansel The Unicorn. The EP contains 2 main up-beat tracks and 3 shorter slow joints featuring crazy jazzy styles like sutn u might hear on an Al Di melola record haha. Also Evil Ed is currently working on an album with Conspicuous, which I’ve heard a little snippet of and I can tell you the beats are off the HEAZZZYYYY!! Kashmere returns with ‘Playing With Fire’ b/w ‘Souls Of The Unborn’ featuring Jehst, which is the first 12” lifted off his forthcoming album ‘In The Hour Of Chaos’ on Receptor records. The a-side is an up tempo 80s prog rock sampling banger featuring Chemo on the banjo, while Iguanaman paints hellish imagery of sorcery and pagan rituals. On the flip LG provides a dark bass heavy soundscape for Kash and Jehst aka Billy Bob Brimstone, who makes a nice little cameo joining in on the random world of Iguana. We’ve got this release early, as it isn’t due to be released until a couple of weeks time so be sure to come cop it now coz no one else has it!!! Also be on the lookout for the video of ‘Playing With Fire’, which was shot in Ireland and is ridiculously hot!! Following the recent Clarity record, SFDB bring us the solo debut 12” ‘Life Time EP’ from the other half of Ugly Heroes, Bristol based MC Conrad Watts. This release contains 4 string led tracks solely produced by Secondson, proving Watts can indeed rap very well. Personally my favourite track is ‘Lifetime’, which is a serious banger and should be the main reason to cop this wax now. Having said that, the other 3 tracks are also on point, with up tempo beats and skilful lyricism well displayed. This year is a big year for the Ugly Heroes, as the crew will be dropping an album on SFDB, as well as plans for solo LPs and new Wordsworth Surgery material all in the pipeline. The long awaited return of Supar Novar is here, ‘Reppin’ b/w ‘Get Ready 4 War’, is the new muddy 12” off Novar’s forthcoming album brought to you by Kemet Entertainment. Both joints are produced by newcomers Show ‘N’ Prove from Brighton, this is definitely a good look for them as both beats are banging. ‘Reppin’ is like something you might hear MOP drop a gem on, big horns, heavy drums and deep bass. While Novar re-introduces himself for 2006, without the Mud Fam, but still reppin the manor all day. The B-side ‘Ready 4 War’ is a more moody but still up-tempo in a Alchemist kinda style, where S-N drops that rowdy war ish. We’ve also got downloads of this release available, and as promised we will be putting the rest of the Kemet back catalogue downloads on the site in the near future, so be on the look out…
Secondly Bare Records drop us a new 7” from Smokey outta East London’s Phobia camp, ‘Road Zombies’ b/w ‘Smokey Spits (Remix)’ & ‘Call Of The Wild’. The sound of the beats is very distinctive, with dark pianos & compressed drums all round as well as original nasty lyrics. Nuff Mix CD madness today!! First off, Newcastle’s freshest club night LoveDough have commissioned Sway to do this brand new mixtape ‘This Is My Rave’, to help promote their raves in a similar style to the ‘This Is My Promo’ mixtapes he dropped himself. The CD is 35 tracks deep and does not only feature new joints, interludes and freestizzis by Sway (although it is predominantly Mr.Dasafo), but also has tracks and freestyles from Lowkey & Styla, Bigz, Dj Shux, Fallacy and more. It’s made me want to go to LoveDough, I’m sure it’ll tantalize you lot to go there if not only for the beautiful ladies on the inside sleeve haha… Secondly, West Country DJs extraordinaire Para & Baila drop us an extravaganza of a CD entitled ‘The Saxton Collection’, which comes in the form of a swift moving, cut and paste adventure featuring ill breaks, beats & hip hop tunes thrown in the mix with a heavy heap of scratching. A nice listen, be sure to look out for P & B in the future, coz there’s much more heat coming, this mix CD is one of the best we’ve heard in a long time…
Last but definitely not least DJ IQ drops us the third instalment of his ‘The Official’ series in a CD stylee. Again including a heap of ill hip hop tunes from the States, flung in the tech-stax blender with some Brit bits and exclusive freestyles, you can tell IQ loves his Dilla (RIP) beats, since the mix is rammajam with rare Jay Dee beats too. Big Savvie Sav of Savchester aka Asaviour drops his long awaited debut album ‘Borrowed Ladder’ on Low Life, featuring an array of beats from the finest rhythmic craftsmen this dull grey country has to offer. The list includes the likes of Ghost, Mr Thing, Evil Ed, Huddersfield beat killer Apa-Tight and more. A few well known friends come and drops gems on the vocal tip in the form of Braintax, Jehst, Micall Parknsun, Kyza, Yungun, Tommy Evans and original Hamstead rudebwoy Richard Truesay. Overall the tunes are on some sickness, the illest tunes are all available on the 7 track vinyl sampler, unfortunately the release won’t be getting a full length pressing on wax. However most of the tunes are on the sampler or have been on 12” before, my advice is to cop the CD and the 12”, be greedy and treat yourselves to this!!... Secondly we have a sick EP entitled ‘Living Legend’ by Jack Flash also repping Huddersfield, all 4 joints are banging both with the beats and lyrics. As Apa-Tight, the man behind bangers such as ‘Hungry’ by Micall Parknsun is responsible for the soulful boom bappera supplied here. Flash’s lyrics are clever and insightful, showing that people need to pay more attention to talent from up north, ESPECIALLY if its this good! Be on the look out for more hot ish by Flash and his Groundwurq crew dropping in the future aswell as collaborations with me, Halal Capone aka Beat Butcha… Huddersfield is definitely building a name for itself this year, with acts like MC/Producer Apa-Tight, Jack Flash, J-Simple, The Praktikal Hedz & Spida Lee all dropping gems this year on various projects….

The World Of Dusty Vinyl is set to get even dustier for our man Lewis Parker in the coming months, as mentioned a few weeks back he has the new 3 track 12” ‘International Heat’ dropping in April. Production duties on a joint named ‘Shakey Dog’ on Ghostface’s new album. And following soon after this will be a series of archive 12”s, with the first one being the highly sought after joint ‘101 Pianos’ lifted off his 1998 album ‘Masquerades & Silhouettes’. Dropping with the vocal, instrumental and acapella of this joint will be two unreleased gems, ‘Two Blazing Eyes In The Sun (Crusades Stoned Desert Mix)’, and ‘Blood And Sand Montage’, keep your flip flops at hand to track this one down when it drops yo, can’t wait…

Red Sea Entertainment drop the first single off Nomadic Poet’s forthcoming solo album entitled ‘A Travellers Tale’. The tunes here are the original mix of Concrete Man, a dusty cinematic remix of the same tune by Lewis Parker, and B-side ‘Switch Over’ which is produced by stateside producer Gensu Dean, not found on the album. If you dug The Planet’s you will dig this, ‘Concrete Man’ is a soulful reflection at the thorough borough of NW London, where Nomadic Poet resides. While ‘Switch Over’, steps his game up flow wise and spits science to wannabe thugs to stop them following trends.…
Blade returns with the 3rd 12” off of his ‘Guerilla Tactics’ LP, which dropped last month. This time the joints are ‘Four Walls’ & ‘UK Hip Hop’, which in my opinion are 2 of the best tunes on the album, showing Baby J’s talent on the boards to the fullest. Open Mic DJs need this for ‘Four Walls’, which is an up tempo banger featuring a rowdy high pitched soul sample. Whilst ‘UK Hip Hop’ is an ode to british hip hop, but where is the shout to DISORDA or Timmy Mallet?!!...

The long overdue return of the man like DJ Mentat is finally here! After months of waiting, we have copies of his latest 12” featuring East London Grime/Bashment MC Durrty Goodz entitled ‘What’s Happ’nin’. I know some of the heads out there might be worried & don’t feel grime but there’s 3 mixes on the single. Personally I’m loving the single mix, which has more of a grime flex but features a nasty evil piece of music as it’s basis. Disorda however feels the remix which is more straight up funky Hip-Hop steez, so whatever you like there’s something for you. Either which way it’s a nice piece of wax, Durrty is in my opinion one of the only grime MCs with serious skillz, be on the lookout for more stuff by him as he is definitely on par with Hip-Hop lyricists. Also DJ Mentat is working on his album at the moment, which according to our sources will feature a lot of hot well known US MCs alongside the best of UK…
And Delegate Inja makes a welcome return with a 4 track 12" entitled the Scars EP, this time featuring Taskforce, Foreign Beggars, DJ Nappa & Delegates Of Culture, oh my days what a line up! Over here we’re personally feeling the Foreign Beggars joint, where Inja & The Beggars tear a Dag Nabbit beat down like an old dutty high rise. Inja also fully rips ‘Scars’, which is a blade runner style futuristic DJ Nappa banger with a simple yet affective hook showing that Inja’s back again. His album with Nappa entitled ‘Wide Open’ is also coming soon, you know its going to be hot so keep the potato peelers on your eyeballs wigsticks!…

We’re trying to get the stock of this in here sooner than the official release date so hold tight. Four tracks feature here with all of ‘em standing loud and proud, bad ass beats and well executed rhymes throughout. The album comes in three formats, the Hip Hop friendly double vinyl, CD, and CD/DVD package, with the latter housing some rather tasty footage in the form of interviews, freestyles, videos and live footage on board, check it, some funny shit folks. There are some class skits throughout interlinking the whole shebang, similar style to the 2 mixtapes, and new joints, alongside the tracks that you may know already. Guests are his fellow Dcypha/Alliance click members Pyrelli & Bigz, alongside Baby Blue and singers Nate James, Sewuese, El Rae & Haydon. Check it, available now on Dcypha/All City right about now...

Harry Love presents us with the first installement from the young microphone fiend Ransom Badbonez today, the limited double sided white label features two re-recordings of Group Home’s ‘Tha Realness’, and Slick Rick’s ‘Children’s Story’. Badbonez spits pure fire over each and follows the same pattern of the original recordings right here. Having served his apprentice with Taskforce you can be sure he’s got what it takes, watch for the mixtape to come and more material from Harry Love & Badbonez too, this is a killer emcee with a lot of talent, and teamed up with Harry Love it’s a killer combo so peep this out and see for yourself, having heard a shed load of tracks already recorded between the two this is just the start truss...

Following on from the recent 12” EP/album sampler ‘Let Peace Be The Ruler’, Breakin Bread bring us Keno-1 aka Natural Self’s debut album in CD format that goes by the same name. Keno isn’t your average beat maker and the album showcases his style and maps out his growth as a producer with real talent. With that unique sound of his, he gives us a record that can rock a dancefloor as well as help you chill with a smoke. In fact, every track has a different mood, give yourself some time, get the stereo sound ill, make yourself comfortable and wonder what kind of direction Dr.Self will take next. The album is available in it’s entirety on CD, vinyl addicts shouldn’t fear tho, as the vinyl EP features most of the heavy tracks anyway. A few of the other joints are also available from us here at the cyber terrain of suspicious packaging on different releases, my advice is check it because my man has SKILLZZ… Also on a totally different note, Disorda, Butchos (me) & our IT team have been working stupidly ridiculous hours xml internet thugging trying to get the new site up and running. Unfortunately we have suffered a few minor set backs so the site isn’t ready, despite our hard work. So apologies on the delay, we’re doing our best, it will be up early next week (hopefully). You’ll be loving our steez when that shizzle drops tho, we’ll keep ya posted!!...

We now have an official date for Asaviour’s debut album ‘Borrowed Ladder’, it will now drop via Low Life Records on the 27th of March on CD format, with an accompanying vinyl EP. Boasting guest vocals from Braintax, Micall Parknsun, Kyza, Yungun and Jehst, and heavy production from Evil Ed, Mr Thing, DJ IQ, Ghost, Jehst and Asaviour himself. The vinyl EP tracks will be ‘Field Of Dreams’, ‘Bangers N Mash’, ‘The Race Track’, ‘So Northern’, ‘Findaz Keepaz’ & ‘Borrowed Ladder’. One tight album from the West Yorkshire native coming friends... Also look out for a killer mix CD entitled ‘A Country Practice’ from DJ Woody & Sean Vinylment in March, it’s a dusty aural excursion where obsessive crate-digging meets world class turntablism, those into their breaks and obscure sounds will love this...

In stock a week early we have the down right diggedy dope instrumental album from Louis Slipperz & Rawdog entitled ‘Bareback Instrumentals’. A solid affair from start to finish finding Louis Slipperz delving deep into the musician, arranger, producer and songwriter within him to create a truly unique journey into off beat, dub infused Hip Hop utilising a whole host of musical instruments (which are actually all displayed on the art work). It’s a nice touch, he’s nice with his, hence the Bareback title, totally raw beats built and played from scratch by Louis and the Rawdog band alongside Louis’s older brother Elmore Judd. A perfect introduction to the Rawdog sound and perfect for aspiring emcee’s, producers and music lovers worldwide... We’ve also got those funky South West natives Lowercase (formally the Verbal Werzuls) with their 2nd 12” release on their own Babbywang label. The three track vinyl on offer drops first with ‘Take The Rough With The Smooth’, fat drums, live horns and an infectious Rhodes riff finding Rosko Rockwell & Samuel Otis joined on the mic by ex-Aspects emcee Bubber Loui, and Arthur Needlefluff on the cut. Up next ‘Girly’ is a killer love rap with tales of heart break over a jazzy loop and old skool crusty drums, and apparently a chorus so catchy even mothers are into it!?. Last up the ‘Oh Yeah’ joint is my favourite, a lively posse cut featuring Vogue Virus & Steeple Jack aka Marshy, a thumping piano and tuff drums completing this hella fresh 12”...

Carbon Imprints bring us a fresh 7” to the table, a new addition to the family known as LabRat and an instrumental joint entitled ‘Ya Mama Be Proud’. While most of his productions are sample based he can hold his own on a host of musical instruments too, with a double A side here the flip finds Steady Diggin Workshop getting on the remix tip with a beefed up dance floor burner. Watch for a Steady Diggin Workshop & Left Footed Drummers 7” dropping around April time, and a compilation album from the Steady Diggers around the end of the Summer... We also have a dope mix CD from Pistache Clothing/Records mixed by DJ IQ, ‘Beats N Rhymes Vol.1’ features 95% UK artists with a few exclusives thrown in aswell, all upfront business tho folks, one of the best UK mixes to drop recently this one... And finally today we’ve got a killer 3 track 12” from an emcee named English based here in London, this dude has been rocking the open mic circuit for a while now and it’s good to hear him on wax finally. The production comes from Manchester based duo Too Many Cooks (Leeroy & DJ Obelix), the full crew all teamed up at University and clicked, this is the result of that friendship dropping with hard drums that complement the English raw style and fashion, good looking, check for it... The team that brought you 2004’s ‘Poltergeist Frequency EP’ and the critically acclaimed ‘Pigeon Street’ 12” are back with a full length CD album. Yes you guessed it Dead Residents are back with their brand new album ‘Keep Britain Tidy’, a long playa containing 16 rowdy lo-fidelity soundscapes and lyrical combat by Junior Disprol & Chud Jackson. Production is handled by The Residents with a helping hand from Stagga & Monkey Moltisanti of Optimas Prime, Evil Kitchen and more, while Aggaman of The Beefeaterz makes the only vocal appearance. Although no 2 tracks are the same, the Dead Residents sound is original and very distinctive let me sum it up for ya, a grimey guacamole mix of old school drums, off-key dusty loops and witty, rugged yet super scientifical rhymes. The 4th and last volume of Taskforce’s ‘Music From The Corner’ series sees UK Hip Hop’s highly respected and super-talented duo on top form right here, this collection of home-produced songs explores a whole range of subject matter with a lighter feel than heads have become used to on volumes 2 & 3. Chester P & Farma G share production and mic duties and cuts/scratches are handled by Raw Dog bass player Louis Slipperz, who’s also soon to release his own ‘Bareback Instrumentals’ LP/CD via Low Life. No pr and no radio play will further underpin their legendary mystique, and the ridiculous creativity on show here simply guarantees their underground status. We’ll inform you of what’s next for Taskforce (or not) when we get given the go ahead, for now, cop this for the collection live from the Highbury Estate, Norf London sides... We also have in stock on the upfront tip a fresh CD release ‘The Heard’ outta Birmingham from the Stronghorn Records collective. Comprising of producers and emcees such as 76, Premiere Williams, Blaq-I, Benjenius, Areikei, Aries & Serocee. Here showcasing the individual members of the click they let loose over 25 tracks with guests Malik (MD7), Madman The Greatest (Playaz International Cliq) and Juice Aleem (New Flesh) joining in the explosion of killer cuts, a solid release from the crew here with some seriously talented individuals on board at the Stronghorn HQ... Banana Klan drop two new limited 7” releases into us today, first up is a Jimmy Screech banger entitled ‘Your Time Is Now’, dropping pure lyrical fire on the scene from subject matter aimed at racial issues and more, this is flipped with a deep reggae toasted joint over a low slung Hip Hop beat from newcomer Eccobine, produced by Lotek entitled ‘No More War’. The second 7” is from South East London’s Lean Cartel on a ride through Bermondsey with some comical yet to the point lyrics on ‘Stick By Me’, and ‘Huddabudda MCs’, both coming with some reggae sampling flavour that we like from the Banana Klan stable. We’ve also had some copies of the Lord Gosh Manuva 7” ‘Let’s Get Live’ back in stock, the initial stock we had sold out quick style and we we’re told no more we’re coming, this new stock came as a nice surprise. Look out for more to come from the Banana Klan label, including a 7” from the one like Kope... Sway’s ‘Little Derek’ 12” & 7” is also officially released today, we had the stock last week though so scroll through the latest arrivals if ya after that one, safe... (DISORDA)

Hey peeps it’s B…utch, I haven’t slept for 20 days, look at the bags under my eyes! 691 Influential bring us the second 12” instalment from the forthcoming Blade album, produced by the don Baby J, ‘It’s Your Time’ b/w ’I Found A Reason’. The subject matter is a little deeper than the previous 12” ‘Mumps’, which was a straight up b-boy banger. ‘It’s Your Time’ is a motivational tune featuring Laurissa, telling the kids not to give up grinding at this Hip Hop ting because they’ll make it, while ‘I Found A Reason’ is a touching (eeewww) song about his son giving him a reason to live. The album ‘Guerrilla Tactics’ is entirely produced by Baby J and is coming February 20th, there’s a mega def launch party in conjunction with Muffjam on the 9th of February at Cargo here in London. With an ill line up featuring the likes of Phi-Life Cypher, Jehst, Diversion Tactics, Yogi/Rukus/Shade One/Baby J, Hoodz Underground, Manage/CLG/Syanyde, Headcase Ladz, Swampfoot, The Manoz, DJ Joe Lung. The Beefeaterz get busy after a while since their last outing on SFDB, and more recently the ‘From Here To The Hereafter’ vinyl EP on their own imprint Run 4 Kover. Right about now we have the debut album into us on CD format only, ‘Badge Of Honour’ comes in at 16 tracks with the majority of production held down by Vee Kay, with additional joints crafted in fine fashion by S-Type, Mr Serve and Hog The Plastic Digger. Guest wise alongside Aggaman’s distinct cockney grammer there’s Vee Kay, Freestyle, Josh Martinez, Junior Disprol, Defisis, Xeno & Stig Of The Dump, with the cuts on the album being held down by fellow Beefeater Big Mac and DJ Diss Cuss, cop it suckerz, fresh of the meat rack and cooking nicely... Breakin Bread also drop a gem on us, the vinyl EP lifted off Natural Self’s (aka Keno-1) debut album ‘Let Peace Be The Ruler’ coming on CD format in a few weeks, this vinyl EP has six killer cuts ranging from the uptempo smashers ‘The Calling’ and the remix of ‘To The Sun’, to straight up Hip Hop breaks of ‘Solomon’ and laid back groove of ‘Song Bird’, all coming correct once again for the Breakin Bread fam, watch for the CD album coming soon... Sway returns after having ruled the media in 2005 and impressed everyone from trendy twits from the boy band Blue to thuggy brats from road with his witty lyrics and MOBO hype. Yes people, you guessed it! We have the new Sway single ‘Little Derek’ from the highly anticipated ‘This Is My Demo’ album dropping at the beginning of Febuary, we have it not only in one format, but in two different stylys. The A-side ‘Little Derek’, is a soulful heater, featuring the lovely Baby Blue, beats by Shucks and an infectious chorus that will get inside of your head and drive you to either go mad or drive you to go and buy. The 12” comes with the bouncy grime B-side ‘Download’, which was on ‘This Is My Promo Vol.2’ and has been getting mad love from across the board. Incase you missed it it’s about a bloke called Kazaa who’s bootlegging everyone’s ish, bloody bastard! 7” format comes with an extra cut entitled ‘Pretty Ugly Husband’, a disturbing yet tongue in cheek tale of domestic violence. For those of you interested Disorda can also sort people out with 8-track format but you need to supply us with a Womble, a Horse’s Hoof and a Prit Stick... From the same camp, Sway’s bestest homie Pyrelli’s ‘Organ G’ is back in stock, we have the last lot that he has so if you need that ish go and cop it now. Also I’ve just got word that he’s working on new material as we speak, good news for lovers of The Instigator... (BUTCHOS)

Crew members consist of Hekler Kosh, Met, Skamma & Piction aka Joe Blow who bring a nice lil flava to this joint right here yoww, lyrically they do remind me a little bit of Taskforce but that’s all skippy! The last 2 12”s have definitely shown that those scratch happy boys at Optimas have a solid style which they are getting more comfortable with. This for those of you with narcolepsy can be summed up as bass heavy hip hop with a drizzle of drum & bass. Whut whut! 2 slabs of wax up on the site today after 2-3 desolate weeks of nothingness due to our office move... Following on from a string of Baby J releases that got dropped towards the end of last year like hot curry pebble dash, the man himself has produced another album but this time for his fellow Derby buddies Antourage. A click made up of Rukus, Shade 1 & Yogi, here we have the first 2 track 12” off of the album entitled ‘Soul Clap’ b/w ‘Wanna Be Free’ where the gang are joined by singer Laurissa. The A-side, ‘Soul Clap’ samples a well known yet funky ass disco break while Yogi & the gang drop it double time, Shade-1 being the stand out IMO. While ‘Wanna Be Free’ is Disorda’s favourite out of the 2, has a 80s soul sample and boasts deeper lyrics. Go Peep!... Also Café Recordings drop us another solid 12”, this time by MC Powerful And Calm (P.A.C.) entitled ‘Matter Of Opinion’, which is a 5 track EP produced by Mister Jaes and features Valu, GenieDon & Antidote. The beats are quite hot and the rhymes are solid, there’s definitely potential in this guy and there are at least 2 stand outs on the 12” ‘Complex Theory’ and ‘Power’. If you liked the older Mister Jaes beats, I would say he’s definitely got better so peep it schmucks! ... (DA BUTCHSTARR)
