Upfront to Suspect Packages we bring you the super dope album from Manchester/London collective Tactical Thinking entitled 'Too Broke To Go Solo', released on their own Tactical Thinking Entertainment imprint. It seriously kicks ass and drops some big and heavy hits onto the scene, from dutty electro stylin's to straight boom bap crisp snare snappin' flavour. The full crew comprising of emcee's Deadline, Jimmy Raygun, Assa, Derogatory, Mr Dick & Kid Genius, helped out by the extended fam Jay Madden, Mic Dyson, Leaf Dog & Taharka really gel well together on this and sound like they've had a lot of fun making this masterpiece, setting them up nicely for their individual releases later this year and next. The producers Naive & Mr Dick really pack this full length out with some serious heat from start to finish, no question, these two are most definatly two of the illest beatmakers in the country right about now...
We have the album available on both CD and MP3 formats, and we also have a free 11 track CD to give away with the first 50 orders placed for the CD version of the album. The flip has Jazz & Zygote on the beats and again some straight up 'bubbling' (literally) boom bap with a simple bass and snare doing damage. The group is Solid 'N' Mind and their double sided gem 'Centre Stage' b/w 'Woke With Nothin' will finally follow their first 12" release 'An Original Break'. For those not knowing, Liberty Grooves was a legendary Hip Hop store in Tooting, South London, who also released a number of groundbreaking vinyls. Been checkin' out the forthcoming 'United Colours of Beggattron' album from the Foreign Beggars, shit, is, ILL! Dented Records coming correct once again, the Beggars' are taking their sound into the next decade with this their third album, due to drop on the 19th of October, we may get a early squeeze on it if we're good! Trust me tho, shit is live, they keep the fundamental hip hop backbone there with every track but draw in many other influences without alienating their true fans, in fact they'll bag a whol'eap more with this one. Guests include Guilty Simpson, Phat Kat, Jehst, Kashmere, Dr Syntax, Kyza, Dubbledge, Ben Sharpa, Audra Nishita & Graziella. With some serious a-grade production coming from Dagnabit, Ghosttown, DJ 2Tall, Nosia & King Knut...
And speaking of the FB's lady Graziella, she'll be appearing on the new series of X-Factor in the coming weeks after her cousin entered her for a laugh, and now she's through to bootcamp! They've paired her up with two other girls to form a girl-band but apparently are utilising her rhyming skills, sounds good, finally some real talent on the programme! Check out Melbourne import Brad Strut of Lyrical Commission and his brand new double CD the 'Fallout Shelter EP / Rejuvenation LP'. Having repped London N16 for the last four years Brad's kinda found a home here amongst the pigeon shit, he's built up a rep back home over many years recording and rocking shows as a leading force on the m.i.c., and is about to make an oversized timberland boot print on the scene here in the UK. He's teamed up with the mighty Beat Butcha to produce the entire EP which finds Strut lettin' off lyrical cannons over a barrage of epic beats, the two really excel here and Brad has truly grasped this project by the balls and dug deep into his inner self for some mind bending concepts and scriptures...
The second release here, 'Rejuvenation LP', finds the likes of Jehst, Chemo, Beat Butcha and The Last Skeptik alongside Australian producers M-Phazes, Trials, Mortar, Ciecmate, Simplex, Dazastah, Tornts & Dontez all dropping the remix treatment to previous tracks lifted of Brad Strut's 'Legendary Mixtape' and 'Legend:Offical' album that we're released last year... Two new 12" releases in stock today, these have been knocking about for a few months actually but we've only just had chance to cop them. First up is the return of the mighty Killa Instinct, responsible for some of the UK's original britcore classics back in the late 80's and early 90's, and now back from tour and sounding on fire! That break neck lyricism and production is still present from Bandog, while Geta gets to grips on the cuts in a furious fashion, both tracks here are ill, and if you're a fan of Killa Instinct and grew up with the original UK style and fashion as I did, or just love the pure energy this crew create, you'll love this one. Oh yeah, Krash Slaughta also lends his hand to the cuttin' here, double trouble alongside Geta fa' real...
The second 12" is from Monkey Sons, a crew made up of Bandog (Killa Instinct), Remark (Deliverance), Crespo (Sons Of The Tribe), Jassbass, Martina & DJ Krash Slaughta (II Tone Committee). They've been around a minute now and incorporate that old skool style yet with an '09 injection of live instrumentation, again some serious spitting from Remark and Bandog who gel together so well on wax, bouncing back and forth with ease. Both 12"s are with us now on Naked Ape Records, watch for more...

We also have a debut release from South Coast rhymer Jaycee who's part of the Nameless Faces crew with Bailo, Mok 1 & Influx. His 'Survival Of The Fittest' album features the rest of the crew and sets the pace for things to come, illegal juggling and making a living on the hustle is the name of the game, and survival of the fittest it is, not a bad debut for Jaycee, out now on Smokey Joe Entertainment...

Some very dope beats from Bee 109, coming large indeed B. Plus extra heat on the production tip coming from Toe, Shox, Earshot & Rak. Plus of course the rest of the merry gang joining Bee 109 (aka Liquid Orwell) on the vocab being - Skuff, Inja, Toe & S Class, all rocking solo joints too. We also have another grime infested release in stock, hailing from Forest Gate in East London are Footsie & D Double E, otherwise known as the Newham Generals. They've recently toured the globe alongside Dizzee Rascal and are also signed to his Dirtee Stank label, their debut album Generally Speaking is straight up grime, if you're into it then you'll like this album, if your not then you'll hate it. Lyrically the duo aren't really saying too much, in my opinion anyway, having said that 'Bell Dem Slags' is pretty amusing, lets be honest though they aren't gonna set the MC world alight. Musically it's a little better, and there's some dope breakbeat action going on, it could almost be '88 britcore...

Big Dada Recordings drop a gem on us, producers Amon Tobin and Doubleclick team up with our main man Sway to form Two Fingers, and salute with their hands held high to anyone afraid of dabbling and mixing up different genres of music. This album is fresh, Sway rides the riddims produced to great effect and makes this album his own, well, he has some help from a few others but generally speaking this is a melting pot of Hip Hop, Electronica and Grime thrown together, we like it...

Argh yeah, Blah Records drop their Brick Pelican onto you suckers, straight up 'funky breaks, fat rhymes and perhaps more than one fat sack of izm' as the press release states, pretty much hits the nail on the head that. Its kinda how I imagine shooting a syringe of heroin into your vein makes you feel, unable to control yourself and being transported off to a place unknown away from all the fuc#ery of day to day life, check it, it's ill as, and available now (that's the album not shooting scag into your arm!)...

Here's a couple of Grime flavoured releases now in stock, hand picked outta the many swag releases these two are pretty dope in our opinion... First up is Chipmunk and his League Of My Own CD, for those not knowing he's a young North London emcee that's been making waves here in the UK amongst the Grime scene and now starting to penetrate the mainstream too. He's got good lyrics and a decent flow and can at least string a decent track together that's actually worth listening to, this release is a good introduction to his style, watch for him...
And secondly it's the don that is Durrty Goodz, if you don't know get to know, this dude can rock it over any tempo and slice your ears off with his razor sharp wit and delivery. His Ultrasound CD is now in stock and as with young Chipmunk the beats are more Grime than Hip Hop, yet Goodz rocks it over some Dubstep here too, killing it...
Oh yeah, if your feeling the Dubstep flavour watch for DJ Nonames outta the Foreign Beggars camp coming with a new mix tape 'Strictly Grizzness' in the next few days, straight heat with emcee's touching down over some ill beats, the likes of Kyza, Orifice Vulgatron, Chipmunk, Badness, D.E.Velopment, Bruza, Ghetto, Metropolis and more, deep...

YNR Productions keep the fresh albums flowing, we now have the debut album Encrypted Scriptures in stock from North London emcee Jyager. Fully produced by the don that is Cee-Why this release is top notch, solid from start to finish with Jyager taking the chance to showcase his style and fashion with ease, and show just why he's one to watch for the future, infact forget the future, listen to him tear it up right now! Some heavyweight lyrics spat with a sick flow that can murk any man, paired up with Cee-Why on the beats it's a winner, and if that's not enough there's some guests, Jehst, Kashmere, Kyza, Verb T, Foreign Beggars, Sifu Chan & DM... Artists such as Hudson Mohawke, Floating Points, Mike Slott, Harmonic 313, Bullion and label mate Paul White to name a few... We're really into this kinda steez and look forward to being able to offer it to our customers, the question is do we have a new section for it, and if so what do we call it? Hudson Mohawke suggested 'Turbo Soul' today, which we like a lot, but do we need to have a new section at all? Vinyl heads, grab a dose of this, the limited wax lifted off The P Brothers album 'The Gas' on Heavy Bronx. The Gas Vol.1 - Special DJ EP features four vocal tracks with Boss Money, Milano & Roc Marciano, and two instrumentals (the instrumentals aren't full versions though which is a shame). This will be the first vinyl EP off the album, with the second completing the completists need for the whole album on the good black stuff. Get in quick, not many of these pressed up, hence the hefty price we paid for 'em I guess, worth every penny though...

Here's the first draft from a forthcoming film called UK Flow, completed for a recent university deadline by film makers Mike Tyler and Lee Warren. It runs for 15 minutes and features DJ Snuff, Orifice Vulgatron, Kingpin, Stig Of The Dump, The I.R.S., Manage, and myself, Disorda. The main film is still in the research/planning phase, which has involved interviewing a small number of people directly involved in Hip Hop in the UK (in order to learn about their characters, their views, as well as the scene as a whole), and this short edit is made up of footage mainly taken from these interviews...
The main film will expand on the topics touched on in this initial edit, but will go much deeper to explore the personalities and stories of the people involved. It'll also look at the mechanics of the UK Hip Hop industry and the process of making music. An animator is also on board, so the aesthetic of the main film will differ from this edit, giving it an original, defined visual style. In order to make some of the processes involved in music easier to understand for the viewer, it'll use a combination of animated sequences and carefully constructed live footage...
Although this is a short edit and lacking many of the features they plan to include in the main film, it begins to convey the tone of the overall project, which aims to show Hip Hop in a positive light, dispelling some of the negative attitudes and hopefully making the genre accessible to all... Take a look and leave 'em some comments, let them know what you think of it, enjoy!
