On a reggae related tip today we have two new 7"s for ya. South African dubbers 7ft Soundsystem meet Scotland's digital masters Riddim Tuffa for the killah combination track Nah Back Down, featuring Jamaican dancehall legend Little Kirk, and Doncaster's Parly B. All parties involved in this release bring the badness, loving the vibes on this one. Be quick if you like it, the label's already sold out.
Secondly, and something slightly different to what we usually offer up, however I had a hand in making this re-release happen so thought i'd throw it up for offer. It's a Jazzman reissue of a 1981 Lovers Rock version of Barbara Acklin's classic (Am I The) Same Girl, recut by producer Dennis Forbes, and vocalled by the relatively unknown singer Charmaine Burnette. It's a bit sort after this one, the original 12" that is, so a nice likkle repress is a good touch.
Two date's for ya diary that i'll be playing at, you might like to reach? Both presented by Evolution Of Dub. First is next Thursday at Finsbury Park's Silver Bullet, a new monthly night called What We Do!, a cross section of music played, i'll be dropping a Hip Hop set on the night. Throw in the likes of Tenor Fly, Daddy Freddy, Buggsy, Top Cat, General Levy, Tippa Irie, Nanci & Phoebe, and many more, and the whole shebang goes off! Loving the whole word, sound and power this album reflects, shining a light on modern society in a big way. Get to know. Really liking this, check the video below for one of the tracks off the album F#@k Bill Murray (Groundhog Day). Get to know 'bout the NSR click, straight freshness outta the norfwestness.
Boof! Big Dada Recordings re-issue two of Roots Manuva's essential releases unto you. Double vinyl copies of the long lost Brand New Second Hand debut album from 1999, and the 2001 follow up Run Come Save Me. I can't express enough just how important these two albums are, if you don't own them on vinyl, I suggest you cop quickly, I don't think these will be around for long. Both come with full download codes too. Massive an' large both at the same time!

Yes yes. It's a High Focus day! Now in stock is the bangin' new album from Dirty Dike entitled 'Return Of The Twat', fully produced by Pete Cannon & Naive (outta Tactical Thinking).
