Tonight will be the last Suspect Packages Radio Show that will broadcast live from Kane FM, the show will continue every month as usual after tonights, but will be recorded from the SP Bunker and drop at the start of every month. This unfortunately will mean less live guests, but also no radio edited music. Thank you to everyone that has left a message on the last show, it's much appreciated, please keep doing so as that will be your space to leave messages and shout outs for the next show.
The Dub Chronicles show will continue to broadcast live each month from Kane. Many thanx!
Lifted off the all new Jehst album Billy Green Is Dead, here's the Paul White produced So Far To Go. More vinyl copies of the album will be with us soon by the way, they sold out again! All pre-orders have now left the bunker.
Ill Move Sporadic link up with Big Toast for a killer new album entitled You Are Not Special, coming on vinyl and tape at the end of August via Starch Records. A cracking release combining the IMS's fully firin' production stamped all over Toast's epic social commentary. The album is available for pre-order right now from the link above, and here's the first video and title track below.
Finally through the door, and straight back out again, Jehst's gatefold vinyl edition of his brand new album Billy Green Is Dead on YNR Productions. Big up everyone on the pre-order of this masterpiece, most left yesterday with the rest leaving today for you. We actually sold out of all our allocated stock on pre-order but have since managed to scoop up a few more, along with more of the CD version as they'd also sold out. So if you missed the vinyl pre-order, get in quick, as I doubt these extra copies we have will hang around.
There's been a big High Focus Records delivery through the bunker door today; Ocean Wisdom Chaos '93 gold vinyl repress, super swanky embossed sleeve steez, Fliptrix Patterns Of Escapism orange & red marble vinyl repress, Leaf Dog Dyslexic Disciple & From A Scarecrows Perspective vinyl & cd, Rag N Bone Man & Leaf Dog Dog N Bone green 12" repress, Ramson Badbonez & DJ Fingerfood Hypnodic CD, The Four Owls Natural Order yellow vinyl repress, Natures Greatest Mystery orange vinyl repress & CD & Nature's Greatest Instrumentals vinyl, and finally Brothers Of The Stone Brothers Of The Stone CD.
It seems it's the season for instrumental vinyl albums, here's another from Village Live, the sixteen track Die Berlin Dateien from producer Aver outta Manchester's TNC crew. Recorded whilst he lived in Berlin, Germany and fully immersed in the culture surrounding him. Layered into the hand chopped and expertly crafted beats you'll find german language samples and sounds entwined into the grooves. It's real nice to get a full set of beats from Aver, every release on his own label has been fire and he's been churning them out for his crew for years. Yet another gem from this label, don't miss it.
Fresh in from the Soundweight Records label comes the ultra dope beatscapes from Rift Valley, aka DJ Drinks, and the self-titled fifteen track smoothness of Rift Valley. A monumental album of instrumental greatness throughout, all crafted with expert precision and treated with the care and attention only a newborn baby would be happy with. In a nut shell, it's been a while in the making and results are top notch. Sit back, do what you do, and take a listen. Have a nice weekend!
Producer outfit The Pangeans link with Brother Culture on this new 7" for the Wheel Up label. Politicians tells it like it is, with Culture running a killer set of lyrics aimed at those supposedly in charge of running the country, whilst Calculus & Lizard Brain produce the swift steppin' riddim that underpins the truth and rights from the mic booth. Each copy comes in a hand printed 7" sleeve, limited copies in stock.
Look what just flew in through the window, the brand new Alpha Steppa album 3rd Kingdom on Steppas Records. Landing on vinyl and double cd, the latter of which also features two bonus tracks, and the full dub version of the album. A massive set and sound as ever from producer Alpha Steppa, full to the brim with heavyweight bass and guest vocalists riding the fresh riddims with style, and more importantly, a positive message to the world. All pre-orders left yesterday, get to know.
Two new videos from High Focus Records, first up is Titanic 2 featuring Lee Scott and lifted off Jam Baxter's Mansion 38 album. And secondly there's Find Me from Ramson Badbonez & DJ Fingerfood's Hypnodic album.
And another fresh visual dose lifted directly off the all new Remulak album Earth, here's Tales Up Quicksie Hill.
The fantastic Village Live label drop us a very small amount of Remulak's latest instrumental opus, five to be exact, entitled Earth. Coming fully sealed in gatefold sleeves with OBI strip and stickers, and of course laden with a cracking set of smooved out buttah beats. Blink and you'll miss 'em.
Also look out for the another release from the label released at the end of next week! Manchester producer Aver and the equally impressive Die Berlin Dateien vinyl album.
A warm an' easy vinyl selection of dangerous dancehall and righteous roots, both new and old. Vibes we inna.
